How to Update OnePlus X to Marshmallow 6.0.1 OxygenOS 3.1.0 Community Build

Great News Today as OnePlus team has finally gifted the Marshmallow update to its OnePlus X users, initially coming off as a community build.
This build is not a final release, and thus you may experience some little bugs or issues in far corners of the ROM. The software version of the OnePlus X Marshmallow update community build is OxygenOS 3.1.0.
There are lots of changes part of the OxygenOS 3.1.0 update, apart form the biggest name in Marshmallow. You also get security patches leading up to August, which is latest currently available, something we expect in Android Nougat update expected to release today.

3- Now, choose the ‘install’ option, select the ROM file, confirm your action and that it, the ROM will be flashed.
4- Reboot your OnePlus X now, and you should have Marshmallow community installed.
That’s it! Your OnePlus X should now have Marshmallow 6.0.1 OxygenOS 3.1.0 community build Firmware on your phone! Go to Settings > About phone to verify.
